The University of Alicante Choir mixes the pedagogical and musical education of its members with the projection of this training in concerts and academic events.
The UA Choir is a musical ensemble belonging to the Office of the Vice President for Culture, Sports and Languages with many aims, on the premise of always learning and to enjoying singing. One of its primary objectives is training its members in the different aspects of a choir, at a musical, social and cultural level, as well as participating and collaborating musically in academic and institutional events of the UA, and in concerts scheduled by the UA. Besides that, the objective is to boost the exchange among choirs, and the participation in national and European contests.

What do we do at the University of Alicante Choir?
During rehearsals, we teach the vocal expression and technique,breathing techniques, articulation, vocalisation, intonation and body language.
What do we sing at the University of Alicante Choir?
The repertoire performed by the UA choir contains polyphonies from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries to date.
The rehearsals of the UA Choir take place on Wednesday, from 6 pm to 9 pm, at the Sant Vicent del Raspeig campus, in the Cultural Information Point conference room Salvador Allende.
